第一篇

Popular events like the football World Cup and other international sporting occasions are

essential in easing international tensions and releasing patriotic emotions in a safe

ways.To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

 

  In contemporary society, sports play a important role and can not be absent from individuals' lives. The discussion that whether the international sports events are essential in easing international tensions and releasing patriotic emotions in a safe ways has already arounsed much attentions. Speaking for myself, i think it is essential.

  Apparently, international sporting events has been a dispensable pare in the world. First , international sports events can greatly strengthen the countries relations. That is to say, the international sporting events solve the serious situation when the countries are hostile to each other.

And this point can be best illustrated by a example, we  all know the problem south Korea and the north Korea, there are a host of conflicts and fights between the two parts boundary, and individuals in the south Korea seem can not stay with the counterpart friendly. But when it comes to the Olympic Games , the sights of the devided parts hands by hands with a Korea flag represent their unite and cohesion. More over , international sporting events can really release individuals patriotic emotions . For instance , when watching the Olympic Games , we are full of motivation.   After seeing the athletes cling the gold medal, we feel more than exciting and whenever we recollect that vision,it releases patriotic emotions

  However , there are some neglect impacts of the international sporting events. For example, football fans fights. They support various teams. When the team , a vast number of impulsive  fans support it,lose, fans are highly likely to commit the silly things.  Even so , the  international sporting events still  produce much advantages than disadvantages.

  To conclude , i favour the point that  international sporting events are essential in easing international tensions and releasing patriotic emotions in a safe ways and i also think if the government had enhance individuals' recognition, the sporting events would be increasingly gorgeous and successful.

Improvements in health,education and trade are essential for the development of poorer nations. However , the governments of the richer nations should take more responsibility for help the poorer nations in such areas.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

As the globalization degree is increasingly, global village has became a proliferation concept. In this case, i hold the view ,rich country take more responsibility, not only to think for themselves.

, but also to promote the development countries substantially.

The poor nations health and trade are accompanied by the rich ones as a result of globalization. rich nations can not separately advance, in turn, poor nations are more reliable on rich nations. This point can be firmly confirmed with an example of SARS. Apparently, developed countries can not defend the world-spread disease with a neglect measure , forbidding immigrants that period internationally. It is evident that helping the impoverished nations against SARA can be the best solution.

When it come to ecology,impoverished countries development mostly depend on raw materials,

Which are exported to the affluent countries at a maximum low price . Therefore , they, both are mutually benefits. Helping the poor nations economically is just a aspect of developing affluent countries themselves.

In term of education, more or less, i consider it has some certain connections with cultural identity which can not be absent from cultural diversity. more importantly, with the advanced techniques the affluent nations gives through education , impoverished ones can be really independent and conduct beneficial influence to the plant more.

In my conclusion, the wealthy counties and the not wealthy ones can not be apart absolutely. However, richer ones should take more responsibility for helping the poor ones , only in this way, do they make enormous interests reality.

When a country develops its technology ,the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

   In this day and age, high technology plays a significant role in individuals' lives. Whether it is pointless to try and keep the traditional skills and ways of life under the high-tech background is a discussion that sparking much debates. As i see, it is overly simplicity.

 

   There is no doubt that high- really transform lifestyles and enhance efficiency greatly. This point can be well confirmed with the example of computer. As we known, it is efficient and accurate when computers conduct the complicated data or cope with various problems. Future more , handsets are a indispensable part in routine. To be more exact , handsets afford individuals telecommunications conveniently, consequently, wherever we are , handsets can take voice to the person you want.

   However ,traditional skills and ways of life still make beneficially sense. In terms of the education, in spite of the high-tech, the school educations prevail over the on-line distance ones and welcomed by majority. More over ,when it comes to reading, it is manifest that most tend to the traditional printed books or magazines. Only a little proportion get accustomed to E-books. By that i mean , some traditional skills and ways of life can not replaced or transformed by high-tech.

   On the basis of the above discussion , individuals benefit from technological innovation. Nonetheless, the traditions can not be abandoned. A certain degree balance between both may creates a great deal of interests.

剑桥雅思7 TEST 2 WRITING TASK 1

 

The graph compares the consumption of fish and some other different kinds of meat in a European country between year 1979 and 2004.

In the graph, it is clear that the consumption of both beef and lamb made a decrease between 1979 and 2004, but the consumption of chicken meat made a rapid increase, and the consumption of fish just made a steady reduction.

In 1979, per personate about 220 grams beef per week, during a sharp fluctuation, in 1984, per person ate about 240 grams beef per week. It has a huge decrease during 1979 to 2004, in 2004, people just ate that about only 110 grams beef per person per week.

The consumption of chicken made a very sharp and rapid growth. In 1979, people in this European country only ate about 140 grams chicken meat per person per week, but during a very significant increase, they ate about 250 grams of chicken meat in year 2004 per person per week.

 Overall, the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004 has a very slight change.

今天的作文,不过怎么都不见老师回复呢?急! 题目:whith the fast pace of globalization,the whole world has become a global village with combination of different cultures. what are the reasons for losing a variety of languanges and cultures? Think of some solution to alleviate the problem. With the development of civilization and economy, the pace of globalization is more and more rapidly,undoubted,we are benefit from the modernization and globalization. but,on the other hand,the cultural assimilation brings us a number of problems as well,the most promiment problem is that we are losing the variety of languages and cultures.In my opinin, the reasons are present below. In the first place, the economic globalization leads to the cultural sameness.As for the economical and cultural communication and interaction,no one age as frequently as our times in history,people have to use the same languange for exchange and communication.As a international language,english is used more and more wildly in the world,in contrast, other languages are not important any more, it must result in some lesser-languages extinct finally.In the second place,westerlization trends are popular creasingly.People are more and more attraxt by the western products and life styles,less and less pay attention to native cultures,thake Japan for example,the most young people who's hair dyed yellow,they prefer eating western food,seeing American films and being keen on the hip-hop music, on the other hand, they show less interests in japanese traditional cultures at all.Lastly,some rare cultures could not be propagated so well that they have died out. After understanding the reasons above, i suppose that, some effective measures should be taken to curb the drawbacks of globalization.The goverment have a great responsibility to do it well,more money should be invest in proventing native cultures, at the same time,the traditional cultures should be propagated greatly by media for raising the sense of native proud of the general public.Only can the cultures remain in the public's heart,it can be constant. Globalization and modernization certainly has the potential to bring about great advances for humankind, however, its disadvantages cannot be ignored.Not only should the goverment take measures to pretend the native cultures,but also everyone has a duty to raise their wareness of protecting traditional cultures. As like this way, it can prevent the varietis of cultures losing effectively.

Question: In the modern study, the school has become unnecessary for children to study. They can use internet which has a great deal of information availble for children so that children can study at home instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

 

Answer:

 

Thanks to the development of information technology, individuals are surprised about the shattering changes it brings to our life, especially education. Some people might doubt the necessity of schooling. For my perspective, the importance of that is undeniable, and I will anlyze it in those three aspects in education, process, purpose and environment.

As we know, one of the essential part of education is interaction. It is not the command of the headmasters that boost the adjustment of methedology, but the interaction, in which teachers would accept kinds of feedbacks that are scarce in internet-based education. In addtion, the school would seem very impersonal were all the computers to replace human teachers who play a paramount role in encouraging and cheering up students in gloom.

Further,outstanding teamwork ability is an major purpose of modern education. Teamwork ability, is definetly fundamantal for one’s career, and it can be trained in group discussions or group presentations, which the internet lacks of. During cooperation ,students unconciously learn how to work with others. If there was not schooling, I cannot images which type of education could genuinely cultivating the teamwork ability.

Last but not least, schooling are able to provide a competitive environment for students. In that kind of studying environment, students are easy to find opponents who could be comparably effetive on ones’ study. Every one want to be the NO.1, and this stimulation are so powerful that it would push them into hard study.

However, I admit that schooling has some specific drawbacks comparing to Internet study. Internet study is more personalized wheras schooling is not. But, this cannot be a deadly shoot for schooling.

In sum, I am in favor of schooling, and I do not think school would be replaced by computers. I also believe that the more personalized Internet study and the schooling will play vital roles in educations side by side.

 题目：nowadays there are many doctors specializing in profitable activities such as  plastic surgery and private health care for privileged patient. should doctors,how ever ,be concentrating more on the generl public's health ,regardless of how rich patients may be?

 

   I N contemporary society , it is universally recognised that some doctors do not work at hospitals buttake careof special patoents, or do other profitable jobs. meanwhile , the controvercy has arisen about whether this doctors should take more attention to our publics’ health conditions . personally, i can agree with their view ,but with reservations.

   undeniably, the civilians' health condition paly a significant role in our society .To start with, the robust people are always active , full of energy and  smart. this help them do better jobs .for instance the workers can heave heavior things,and the white collars do their job more effectively. Further more the citizens with less dieases are good for keeping society safe and stable , Obviously every person is sacerd of virus such as H1N1and SARS which are threat to people's lives, Above all ,healthy people are the guarantee of a stablelyprosperous society. so it is doctors' duty to take more time and energy on the public's health conditions.

  On the other hand , i am also contend that this powerful or affluent guies should be treated differently ,this is because  the leaders and entrepreneurs make vast contribitions to our society, obviously the health conditions of them are  making greater influence than averge people .The doctors however ,tend to make more money  by specilizing in plastic surgery or be their  private doctors. i think  it  is not wise enough.

   TO conclude,  i would  to say special careness should be taken if the wealthy people were sick ,for they have tons of money ,but doctors must give their best shot on generl peoples' healthy and regardless of  how rich patients may be .Overall, i am conviced that with the doctors' help  our country will become more prosperity .

     In present-day society, it is generally believed that education plays a key role in children's life.   Both practical subjects or       theoretical subjects are very important to children.             However, whether study theoretical subjects has sparked spirited debate.Some people insist that students should only study practical subjects such as computer science and accounting.  As far as I am concerned,  I think their view is only partly true .

  It is obvious  that only sudy  practical subjects are harmful to children's development.To start with, practical subjects are based on theoretical subjects.  For example, computer  science will use the knowledge of math to resolve practical problems.  Therefore, only studing practical subjects is not beneficial to solving practical problems. Moreover,studying theoretical subjects can train individuals' minds and raise people's intelligence,helping people gain  the ability to cope with questions.Specifically, studying theoretical subjects can help people consider one problem from many angles,which makes it easier .Finally ,we study not only to practice ,but also to achieve  knowledge. People should gain many kinds of knowledge. In other words,  knowledge can enhance our personal quality. Knowledge is beneficial to our whole life and will influence our life greatly . Admittedly,only studing theoretical subjects will also have a detrimental influence on the students.  The reason is that we should make ourselves live in the society.  Therefore, we should study a practical subject in order to support us ,we must be realistic in ) our life.  Evidently, only studing theoretical subjects will create students that will lose their independence to practice, so it is difficult for  students to advance in overall areas.  Therefore, we should educate children in both subjects.

   Using computer, which is becoming a common way for most people who always need to handle a handful of documentaries and research massive information from internet, has changed some way in our daily work and leisure. But there are still something cannot replaced for a long period. We can take full advantage of computer, but never rely on them.

    The first reason I want to point out is that computer can just give students the context and whether the question is right or wrong. Students only can learn the vague theory from text, but hard to realize the essence of the reason. Through the world, one can have little capacity to expand their mind to image what was happened. They simply get the speculative knowledge rather than real skill. A teacher would to reveal one thing from what happened to how it work out.. It must be vivid and visual, which would make students more acceptable.

    Actually teacher is act dual role, one is teacher themselves. Another is children’s parents. Most time of the childhood is taken by school, which is the significant influence on students’ character directly is teacher, not their parents. Teacher should tell their students what can they do and what is forbidden. There are still any other things like how to communicate with others, what we should do in different situations and whether we could do some harmful things need our teachers to complete. However, children couldn’t achieve this ability through computer-teaching. The only thing they can get is so called “knowledge”

    To some students who have strong self-control, computer is a good assist. Compared to those students who can’t control what they want to do, computer is a poison. Over one hundred students under the research had shown that such individuals tend to crawl from bed to computer, not worrying about teeth, face, clothes and hair.

I find compeling the arguments that the lesser-known languages should be preserved.To start with, there are a host of languages are afflicted with breakage of English.Therefore, if governments do not take some measures to save them, they will die away not so long.Furthermore, lesser-known languages play key roles in researching the history and culture of  countries which are speaking in these languages.Specifically, to the researchers ,it is imperative that they discover the secrets of the books written by the lesser-known languages .Last but not least, these languages are the cultural heritage of out ancestors.This makes sense in that we have a duty to protect them from dangerous insteads of  kill them.

 

Granted, English plays a dominant role in terms of communication.This is vaild insofar as English is the most widespread use of language in the world.Obviously, due to English which is a global language, numerous students can study abroad without the language barrier each year. In spite of this, the too many dialects of English still require to accustom by the students abroad whose mother tongue is not English. One illustration of this is that , Indian Students may can not make it clearity some pronounctions between Britsh English and American English,which surely bring some upsets to him.

 

To sum up, I would concede that people the world over can profit from the advancement in the proliferation of English,even though we must ensure that English will not render lesser-known languages death at the same time. I suggest that the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural should work out a detailed plan to save lesser-known languages,rather than make the cultral uniformity. In this essay, I will explore some possible causes of this phenomenon and then propose some solutions.

 

It is manifest that the causes for the dying out of the wildlife are manifold. In the first place, the severe environmental pollution attribute to this phenomenon. For instance, both the infertile soil that is caused by the chemical fertilizer and the polluted water pose threats to the ecosystem, thereby devastating the biodiversity. In the second place, those individuals who overexploit the wild animals and plants should also be responsible for this matter. More specifically, in order to earn money, a large number of people harm the wildlife inhumanly, which diminish the quantity of wildlife directly. Thirdly, it seems that most people lack the awareness of protecting the wildlife. Therefore, less effort has been done to preserve the wild creatures and plants.

 

Accordingly, the solutions to this problem should also be diverse. First, government should take effective measures to manage the pollution. For example, the factories that dump sewage to the rivers should be closed while more plants should be cultivated, to name but a few. Then, stringent laws on preserving the wildlife should be concluded. Indeed, communities or individuals that violate the laws must be brought into justice. Above all, the media can raise the public awareness of the significance of preserving the wildlife. Research has proved that less than one fifth people know the value of the wildlife.

 

To sum up, several factors contribute to this issue. I would assert that we could take measures including managing pollution, legislation and raising people’s awareness to address this diturbing problem.

In addition midern technology may be a barrier for the elderly people who have got used to traditional books. As a result, multi-media technology could be not so acceptable to them.

 

Admittedly, there is no doubt that multi-media technology brings numerous benefits. To begin with providing multi-media technology instead of books will conserve the space. Specifically, a DVD, which is one tenth as big as a book, is able to store all the contents in a dictionary. Besides, multi-media technology is much cheaper than a book. Therefore, it is also a way to save money. According to the 2007 annual report conducted by Times, the libraries in London cut their cost by 50million pounds because if multi-media technology.
